Research

Acute Care is a platform designed to make it easier for consumers to get all the medical care they require. There are two primary components on this website: Patients and Doctors. I'll talk about the patient part here, which offers five main services. This website will assist patients in finding physicians’ online, allowing them to have digital consultations, they can book an online appointment with the hospital, ordering medications from our shop online, hiring nurses, and scheduling medical lab testing. Additionally, customers can reserve an ambulance in case of emergency and employ a qualified nurse.

Problem Statement

1. In hospitals, scheduling an appointment is a difficult process that involves standing in line for a long time and dealing with staff members' needless delays.

2. A specialist doctor might be difficult to find.

3. Finding an ambulance in an emergency is quite perilous for the patient.

4. When you're not feeling well, going to the store to get medicine is irritating.

5. lack of expertise in administering drugs or self-treatment that may be fatal or otherwise. inadequate emergency services for people in need.

Product Goals

1. Affordable medical treatments with a range of choices and customizability. designed with a list of doctors by specialisation.

2. The website has an online pharmacy. a unique option is offered within the medical shop to assist customers in rapidly purchasing medication based on their prescription. The medication that our doctors have prescribed is also available in the medical shop.

3. Offered a quick and reasonably priced emergency ambulance service.

4. Online booking for medical lab tests and a wide selection of laboratories.

5. All of the patient's medical history is kept in a separate area of the record.

6. Regular and generous discounts for major events. For elite users, a special discount is offered.

7. With the option to employ a nurse. Users can employ specialist nurses at a fair hourly fee and in accordance with their demands.

Qualitative Research

I decided to conduct a face-to-face user interview to better understand the users' needs and difficulties. I created a list of inquiries to pose to a user as a result.

Questions

1. Tell me your overall experience while you are going to hospital for booking an appointment

2. How many minutes did you get called the appointment

3. Do you ever forget to buy medicines from the medical store and why?

4. Do you know someone who is not able to go and buy medicine due to illness? What he does in that situation?

5. Do you like to have a video call conversation with the doctors about your illness instead of going to hospital first?

6. Did you need the ambulance service in the past? If yes, how did you find it?

7. Did you find problems while finding a doctor for your specific disease or symptoms?

The process of competitor analysis provided the strategic insight into the features, functions, flows, and feelings evoked by the design solution of our competitors. These informations are used as a point of comparision to design our solution with the goal of making a superior product.

02 Define

User Persona

The user persona is required to more easily investigate the complicated user group's behavioural patterns. User personas served as a guide for my ideation process following the user interview, which enabled me to successfully create a positive user experience.

Empathy Mapping

I designed an empathy map to gain a deeper understanding of the consumers. What the user said, did, thought, and felt are reflected in the four quadrants in four different ways.

Normally, I go to the clinic first to arrange an appointment.
