Research

"HomeBliss" is an app for people who frequently travel from one city to another, for people who live alone, and for students who stay away from their homes. This app will help people find the necessary services around them, like cooks, maids, mess food, rental services, repair services, etc. This app will also help local service providers provide their best services to the customers around them.

We recently discovered that people who are staying alone have to deal with different

difficulties, and our app will try to solve the maximum difficulties by providing the best services in a short amount of time.

Problem Statement

Many people are busy in their lives. Because of that, they don't have time to find the necessary service for their needs. Our app will provide them with all the necessary services at their doorstep within a minimum of time.

Product Goals

1. This app will help people who are living alone, who frequently travel from one city to

another, and students who stay away from their homes

2. An app that helps people to get necessary services as soon as possible

3. This app will also help local service providers to provide their services to the people and expand their customers

4. It will also make customer's life easy by providing daily necessary services like mess food delivery, paper, and milk delivery, grocery delivery, etc.

5. Customers will be able to distribute the payments with their roommates or partners.

Qualitative Research

I used the interview method to collect in-depth information from users between the ages of 19 and 28 on their thoughts, opinions, experiences, and

feelings. Most of the users whom I have interviewed are those who have recently moved from their city to another for work, education, or other reasons

Below are some of the questions asked:

Competitive Analysis

The process of competitor analysis provided the strategic insight into the features, functions, flows, and feelings evoked by the design solution of our competitors. These informations are used as a point of comparision to design our solution with the goal of making a superior product.

02 Define

User Persona

The user persona is required to more easily investigate the complicated user group's behavioural patterns. User personas served as a guide for my ideation process following the user interview, which enabled me to successfully create a positive user experience.

Empathy Mapping

I designed an empathy map to gain a deeper understanding of the consumers. What the user said, did, thought, and felt are reflected in the four quadrants in four different ways.

User Scenario

Saurabh Rane recently moved to Pune for post graduation. So he has

a lot of problems regarding this because he moved from his

hometown to another city for the first time. So he has issues like food,

maid, home services, daily milk & newspaper delivery, etc. He tried

many apps, but he is not satisfied with them. He wants a quicker

service than other apps. He is a vegetarian, so he wants a cook who

will make vegetarian food for him. He wants a maid who will come

daily for cleaning. And he does not want to wait for services as he has

to spend his maximum time in college.

One day, his friend Sanika introduced him to the HomeBliss app.

Aadhi is registering for this app and using it, and he is pleased to do

so. And he got exactly what he wanted. He required quick service, a

cook, a maid, home services, and other services. He says he is happy

with this HomeBlissApp and it solves his daily problems in an easy

way.

Information Architecture

Based on the previous research activities, I built the information architecture which served as a base for devloping information hierarchy for the application.

High Fidelity Wireframe

After doing tons of paper sketches, I started working on wireframes.

This phase took lesser time than I thought because of paper sketches. We got lots of reviews and updates. Here I am attaching some of the wireframes that we worked on.

HomeBliss" is an app for people who frequently travel from one city to

another, for people who live alone, and for students who stay away from

Typography

We chose a straightforward, modern typeface to complement the flat,

minimalistic look of the app.

The colours are carefully chosen to complement the flat aesthetic of the

app design.

Onboarding Screen

Sign In/Sign Up Screens

Users have two options for signing in: either directly using a social network

account or by entering their mobile number and generating an OTP for the

same. This makes registration a quick and effective method of configuring authentication

Following a successful login or registration, the user will be shown the home screen. You

may navigate to many of the major and sub-pages quickly if you choose it, such as the

product display page, or you can go right to your favourites if you saved your preferred request

offered by electricians, plumbers, and many more. User can also read reviews and look for directions

Users can book our service by scheduling it using date and time and also, pay for our services though app.

We choose a simple feature for the time and date schedule, so user will not get confused while booking it

05 Testing

Users praised the product's overall design, feel, and range of features. They found this application useful. One user expressed his confidence that it will benefit him find an neccesery services around him as soon as possible.
All of the user who test the app felt that it was an effective app.
Some user said the they want fully contactless booking (no call required) for cook service.
Users liked the insights provided in the activity page.
User felt that features like ‘split the share’ needs to be explained.
